Declaration of Conformity — Eight Points & Legal Significance The Declaration of Conformity contains eight mandatory sections per Annex V: system identification, provider identification, sole responsibility statement, conformity statement listing all applicable legislation, data protection compliance, standards and specifications applied, notified body information, and signatory with date. The Declaration is a legally binding assertion; signing in the face of unresolved critical non-conformities exposes the signatory to personal liability and the organisation to penalties under Article 99.
