WS7: Regulatory Notifications (EU DB, Deployers, CA) Three categories of regulatory notification accompany decommission. EU database registration: the Conformity Assessment Coordinator updates the registration to reflect “no longer on the market/in service” under Articles 49 and 71, with the date of withdrawal recorded. Deployer notification: all known deployers are formally notified under Article 20, with the non-conformity (for compliance-driven withdrawals) described at an appropriate level of detail. Competent authority notification: where the withdrawal results from non-conformity presenting a risk under Article 79(1), the provider informs the competent authority and any notified body that issued a certificate. For mandated withdrawals, the competent authority has already been engaged; the notification confirms the withdrawal’s completion and the corrective actions taken. The Legal and Regulatory Advisor coordinates all regulatory notifications, ensuring consistency across jurisdictions for multi-state deployments. Key outputs

  • EU database status updated to “no longer on the market/in service”
  • Deployer notification under Article 20
  • Competent authority and notified body notification where applicable
