WS6: Archival — 10-Year Retention The Conformity Assessment Coordinator archives the final AISDP version and the complete evidence pack in long-term storage. The archive must be immutable (preventing retrospective modification), accessible (a competent authority request can be serviced within a reasonable timeframe), and cost-efficient (active monitoring infrastructure can be decommissioned while data survives). Cloud cold storage tiers (AWS Glacier, Azure Archive, GCS Archive) provide cost-effective long-term retention with retrieval latencies of hours to days, acceptable for regulatory requests. The archive includes a manifest document describing the system, the AISDP version history, the evidence pack contents, and the retrieval procedures. This manifest ensures a future employee or competent authority can navigate the archive without relying on institutional knowledge. Automated archival pipelines reduce human error: the pipeline exports the final model artefact, final monitoring snapshot, and AISDP to archive storage, verifies completeness against the evidence register, and produces an archival receipt with checksums. Key outputs
- Immutable, accessible, cost-efficient long-term archive
- Cloud cold storage (Glacier, Azure Archive, GCS Archive)
- Manifest document for future navigation
- Automated archival pipeline with checksum verification
