Post-market monitoring is the continuous compliance obligation that runs from the moment a high-risk AI system enters production until decommissioning. The PMM plan establishes the monitoring scope, frequency, and responsibilities required by Article 72(3). Five monitoring dimensions follow: performance, fairness, data drift, operational, and human oversight.

PMM infrastructure architecture defines the technical stack. Specialised monitoring for [LLM and generative AI systems and composite systems extend the core framework. The alerting and escalation framework implements severity-based response. Serious incident reporting addresses the Article 73 obligation. Deployer monitoring support enables downstream compliance. Quarterly PMM reviews, feedback loops to governance, change impact assessment, data retention and privacy, resource planning, and continuous compliance round out the operational framework. The section concludes with PMM artefacts.

Note: This section corresponds to the Post-Market Monitoring section and feeds primarily into AISDP Module 12 (Post-Market Monitoring).
