Dashboard Layer Dashboards serve two audiences. The operational dashboard provides the Technical SME and operators with real-time or near-real-time visibility into system behaviour: current metric values, alert status, recent trends, and active investigations. The governance dashboard provides the AI Governance Lead and compliance team with summary views: compliance metric status (green/amber/red), alert history and resolution statistics, trend analysis over weeks and months, and the current non-conformity register status. Both dashboards should be accessible without specialist tooling. Grafana (open-source) is the most common choice for operational dashboards; it integrates with Prometheus, Elasticsearch, and most time-series databases. Governance dashboards may be built in Grafana with a simplified view, or in a BI tool (Metabase, Superset) that the compliance team already uses. Dashboards are Module 12 AISDP evidence. Screenshots or exports from the dashboard at defined intervals (quarterly, at minimum) are retained in the evidence register, demonstrating that the monitoring infrastructure was operational and the metrics were within thresholds. Key outputs

  • Operational dashboard for Technical SME and operators (real-time)
  • Governance dashboard for AI Governance Lead (summary views)
  • Grafana or equivalent, accessible without specialist tooling
  • Dashboard exports retained as Module 12 evidence
