The EU database is a single European database; a provider’s registration covers the EU market. The coordination challenge arises with deployer registration (which is jurisdiction-specific for public authorities) and with supporting deployers in different member states who may request different information or assistance with their own registration obligations.

The Conformity Assessment Coordinator maintains a register of all deployment jurisdictions and confirms that the EU database registration accurately reflects the member states where the system has been placed on the market, put into service, or made available. Updates are submitted when the system is deployed in additional jurisdictions.

For multi-jurisdiction deployments, the registration data must be consistent across all interactions with authorities. A discrepancy between the EU database entry and information provided to a national competent authority creates a compliance vulnerability.

Key outputs

  • Single provider registration covering all deployment jurisdictions
  • Jurisdiction register maintained by Conformity Assessment Coordinator
  • Consistency between EU database and national authority interactions
  • Module 10 AISDP documentation
