The Conformity Assessment Coordinator manages the end-to-end certification workflow: coordinating the assessment plan, managing the Non-Conformity Register, preparing the Declaration of Conformity for signature, managing EU database registration, and maintaining the evidence register and its currency tracking.

The Coordinator is responsible ® for conformity assessment execution, Declaration of Conformity preparation, and EU database registration. The role manages logistics across all assessment phases, tracks non-conformity remediation deadlines, coordinates notified body interactions (where applicable), and maintains the portfolio assessment calendar.

For small organisations, the Coordinator may be the same individual as the AI System Assessor. For medium and large organisations, a dedicated Coordinator manages the assessment process independently from the assessment itself, ensuring that the process is followed and deadlines are met.
