Distributional Analysis Reports consolidate the outputs of Article 70 (distributional analysis), Article 73 (proxy variable detection), and Article 75 (intersectional pre-training analysis) into a single evidence artefact per dataset.

Each report contains the distributional analysis output matrix (features vs protected characteristics, with test statistics and p-values), the flagged features register with the Technical SME’s assessment of each flagged feature, the proxy variable correlation matrix with the justification review outcomes, and the intersectional analysis with cell sizes and reliability assessments.

The report is generated as part of the data preparation pipeline and stored as a Module 4 evidence artefact. It is reviewed by the AI System Assessor for completeness and by the AI Governance Lead for the acceptability of any identified biases. The report is updated whenever the dataset is modified.
