Update Frequencies Artefact update frequencies fall into four bands. Continuous artefacts (most of Category A) are updated at every pipeline run, deployment, or inference request; they are never out of date because they are auto-generated. Event-driven artefacts (portions of Categories B and C) are updated when a triggering event occurs: a system change, a monitoring finding, a regulatory development, or an incident. Periodic artefacts (quarterly PMM review minutes, annual audit reports, regulatory guidance monitoring logs) follow a defined schedule. Milestone artefacts (the Declaration of Conformity, the assessment report, the CE marking authorisation) are produced at specific lifecycle points and revised only on substantial modification. Evidence freshness tracking in the evidence register (B2) must reflect these bands. A continuous artefact flagged as overdue signals a pipeline failure. A periodic artefact flagged as overdue signals a governance process failure. Key outputs

  • Four-band update frequency classification
  • Per-artefact frequency assignment
  • Freshness monitoring guidance
