Dataset Documentation Per-dataset documentation recording source, size, temporal period, geographic coverage, collection methodology, legal basis for processing, preparation steps, quality metrics per ISO/IEC 25012, special category data processing, and version identifier. Maintained as a living artefact co-located with the dataset in the versioning system (DVC, Delta Lake, or LakeFS). A dataset version bump triggers a corresponding documentation update. Responsible party: Technical SME drafts. DPO Liaison reviews data protection aspects. Regulations addressed: Article 10 (data governance, all sub-requirements); Article 10(5) (special category data); Annex IV(2)(d) and (f); GDPR Article 6 (lawful basis); GDPR Article 9 (special category data).
